Moody Bobby is more than a brand, it’s a living story. Named in honor of our founders' parents, it reflects the comfort, confidence, and curiosity they instilled. Moody Bobby’s quiet charm and thoughtful style inspired the idea of creating clothing that embraces change, mood, and motion.
My mother and I once shared a dream: to start a clothing brand that combined style, comfort, and functionality for modern, active people. We imagined creating designer-quality activewear that people could feel confident wearing every day. Sadly, she passed away in 2020 before we could bring that dream to life. I called my mom “Moody” because she was the moodiest person I’ve ever known, in the best way. She was full of fire, personality, and love. The world feels a little dimmer without her in it.
In 2021, just three months after surviving a nearly fatal car accident that left me permanently disabled, I met my husband, Michael. He’s been my rock ever since. Michael helped me believe in possibilities again. He lost his father when he was just 18, but he never let go of the values his father instilled in him. His father’s name was Bobby. Together, Michael and I created something built on legacy, love, and resilience. That’s why we call it Moody Bobby, a tribute to the people who shaped us.
Today, we carry that vision forward by offering quality, American-made activewear for stylish people on the move. Our pieces are designed with purpose and crafted with care, honoring the people and values that inspired this brand from the very beginning.
